Print Node Integration

Arigato Automation can connect to PrintNode, allowing merchants to send print jobs to any printer connected through the PrintNode service.

Configuring the Integration

  1. From within the app, in the left sidebar, click Integrations.
  2. Locate the PrintNode integration and click Enable.
  3. Sign in to your PrintNode account and generate an API key by visiting PrintNode API Keys.
  4. Paste your API key into the API Key field in the Arigato form.
  5. Click Save to store your credentials.
  6. After saving, click Test Connection to verify the API key is valid.
  7. Once connected, you’ll be able to select your registered computers and printers when using the Send Print Job to PrintNode Action in Workflows.

Credit Costs

All PrintNode Actions cost 1 credit on Lite plans and are unlimited on Unlimited plans.

Limitations

Only one content type may be used per print job.

Queued print jobs may fail silently if the printer is offline or disconnected. Arigato does not monitor downstream PrintNode failures after queuing a job. Check the PrintNode interface for failures and monitoring options.

Troubleshooting

If the connection test fails or printers do not appear, try the following steps:

  1. Confirm that your PrintNode client is running and logged in on the computer you wish to print from.
  2. Visit PrintNode Devices to verify your printers are online and recognized by PrintNode.
  3. Ensure that the selected computer and printer are not disabled or removed from your PrintNode account.
