Customer Action: Add a customer to a company
The Add a customer to a company Action in Arigato lets you associate an existing or new customer record with a company object in Shopify. Use this to group customers by account, manage billing contacts, and apply company-level Workflows or discounts.
Configuring the Action
To set up the Add a customer to a company Action, follow these steps:
- Open your Workflow in Arigato.
- Add a new Action and choose Customer → Add a customer to a company.
- Specify the target company in the dropdown field.
- Set the customer’s role within the company.
- Select the location.
- Save the Action.
Troubleshooting & Usage Tips
Permissions / API limits: You will be prompted to update the app permissions the first time you use the Action. Please ensure that you are logged in with a store owner's account.
Credit Cost
The Add a customer to a company Action incurs a cost of one Action Credit on Lite plans and is unlimited on Unlimited plans.
