Customer Action: Add a customer to a company

The Add a customer to a company Action in Arigato lets you associate an existing or new customer record with a company object in Shopify. Use this to group customers by account, manage billing contacts, and apply company-level Workflows or discounts.

Configuring the Action

To set up the Add a customer to a company Action, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Workflow in Arigato.
  2. Add a new Action and choose Customer → Add a customer to a company.
  3. Specify the target company in the dropdown field.
  4. Set the customer’s role within the company.
  5. Select the location.
  6. Save the Action.

Permissions / API limits: You will be prompted to update the app permissions the first time you use the Action. Please ensure that you are logged in with a store owner's account.

Credit Cost
