Customer workflow: Trigger when a tag is added or removed
With a customer workflow, users can easily trigger specific actions when a tag is added to or removed from a customer profile. This is available as a trigger option when setting up the customer workflow.
Getting Started
The trigger is available on both Classic & Canvas workflows.
To get started, create a new Event workflow, then select Customers. Finally, select either When tags are added to a customer or When tags are removed from a customer.
Tag Added: This triggers the workflow when
any tag is added to a customer profile.
Tag Removed: This triggers the workflow when
any tag is removed from the customer profile.
Specify Conditions
Since the event is not limited to specific tags and will trigger when
any tag is added or removed, a condition is required to implement the necessary logic and verify if the correct tag was added or removed.
For example, if you wanted to automatically send an email or enroll the customer in a loyalty program when the "VIP" tag is added, select the
Customer->

With the Trigger and a Condition in place, the next step is defining the Action.
